Marcus Sedgwick

Marcus Sedgwick (1968–2022) was a British author of young adult fiction. He initially worked as a bookseller and publishing editor before turning to writing. From 1994 onward, he mainly wrote novels for young readers. He also made woodcuts and used them to illustrate some of his books.
