Marcus Schladebach

Marcus Schladebach (born 1972) studied law in Berlin and San Antonio, Texas. He earned his doctorate in 2000, passed the Second State Examination in Law in 2001, and obtained an LL.M. in European Integration Law in 2002. From 2002 to 2012, he worked as an adviser in state and federal ministries of justice. In 2013, he completed his habilitation and received a teaching qualification in public law, European law, international law, and air and space law. After serving as a substitute professor in Kiel, Göttingen, Düsseldorf, Hagen, and Potsdam, he took up a professorship in public law, media law, and legal education at the University of Potsdam in 2017.
