Marcus Bensmann

Marcus Bensmann is a journalist who spent around 20 years reporting for German, Swiss and Japanese media from Central Asia, the Caucasus, Afghanistan, Iran and Iraq. From 2014 onward, he worked as a reporter for CORRECTIV. His investigations have included the downing of flight MH17, AfD financing, adulterated cancer drugs from a pharmacy, and the reinstatement of a priest convicted of child abuse. His reporting has also focused on abuse of power, corruption and the political influence of authoritarian regimes.
