Maralde Meyer-Minnemann

Maralde Meyer-Minnemann, born in Hamburg in 1943, studied Romance languages and worked as an interpreter and literary translator from Spanish and Portuguese. She received the Hamburger Förderpreis für literarische Übersetzungen in 1992 and 2021, the Preis „Portugal-Frankfurt“ in 1997, and the Helmut-M.-Braem-Preis in 1998. She was nominated for the Leipzig Book Fair Prize in 2005, 2011, and 2013.
