Manfred Holodynski was a professor of developmental psychology and of development and education at the University of Münster. He completed his habilitation at Bielefeld University on emotional development. His research stays included the University of California, Berkeley, and Bielefeld University’s Center for Interdisciplinary Research. In 2010, he was a visiting professor at the “Languages of Emotion” Cluster of Excellence at Freie Universität Berlin. His research focused on emotional development, the assessment and promotion of educational programs in early childhood settings, and classroom management among primary school teachers. He authored numerous publications, including the books “Emotion. Entwicklung und Regulation” and “Von der Emotion zur Sprache,” as well as an expert report for the Parliament of North Rhine-Westphalia on the educational importance of parents and caregivers for children.
