Manfred Hintermair

Manfred Hintermair holds a doctorate in philosophy and a degree in psychology. From 1994 to 2016, he taught psychology and diagnostics relating to people who are hard of hearing or deaf at Heidelberg University of Education. His research and teaching focused on the social-emotional and identity development of deaf and hard-of-hearing people, as well as family-psychological issues in the context of hearing impairment. He has published extensively on these and related topics.
