Maite Kelly

Maite Kelly (born 1979) became known as a member of the Kelly Family and as a singer and entertainer. She also worked as a dancer, actress, composer, and lyricist, writing songs for herself and other artists. In 2012, she and Theo West received the Environmental Media Award for TV and Media for the ZDFneo program “Da wird mir übel.” As an author, she co-created the children’s book series “Die Hummel Bommel” with Britta Sabbag. According to published biographies, Kelly wrote her first children’s song at the age of eight.
