Maggie O'Farrell

Maggie O’Farrell, born in Northern Ireland in 1972, is an Irish-British author. She has received the Somerset Maugham Award and the Costa Book Award. Her memoir, »I Am, I Am, I Am«, topped the Sunday Times bestseller list for several months. Her novel »Hamnet« was also a Sunday Times bestseller and won, among other prizes, the 2020 Women’s Prize for Fiction, the 2020 National Book Critics Circle Award, and the 2021 British Book Award for Best Novel. »The Snow Angel« is her first book for children.
