M. C. Beaton

M. C. Beaton was the pseudonym of Scottish author Marion Chesney (1936–2019). Before devoting herself fully to writing, she worked as a theater critic and journalist for various British newspapers. She was best known for her crime series featuring the English detective Agatha Raisin and the Scottish village police officer Hamish Macbeth.
