Lukrez

Lucretius, whose full name was Titus Lucretius Carus, was a Roman poet who was probably born around 93–99 BCE and died around 53–55 BCE. No reliable information about his life has survived. His work very nearly disappeared: it was forgotten for centuries and rediscovered only in 1417. In addition to this find, only two further ninth-century copies are known.
