Luise Lunow (born 1932) was a German actress and voice artist. After completing training in ballet and acting, she worked at numerous German theaters, including the Maxim Gorki Theatre in Berlin, where she was engaged for eleven years. She also became known for television productions such as “Praxis Bülowbogen” and “Polizeiruf” and for the film “Pappa ante portas.” As a dubbing artist, she provided the German voices for foreign actresses. In 2019, she received the honorary award for lifetime achievement from the German Synchronpreis. Born in Babelsberg, Lunow commuted daily between East and West Berlin early in her career.
