Ludwig Achim von Arnim

Ludwig Achim von Arnim (1781–1831), born Carl Joachim Friedrich Ludwig von Arnim, was a German writer and poet. Alongside Clemens Brentano, he is regarded as one of the principal representatives of Heidelberg Romanticism; Joseph von Eichendorff is also associated with this circle. Arnim was born in Berlin and died at Wiepersdorf Castle in the Jüterbog district.
