Ludger Scherer

Ludger Scherer (born 1966) is a German scholar of Romance studies and German studies. He received his doctorate in Romance studies and German studies in 1999 and completed his habilitation in Romance philology and literary studies in 2009. His academic appointments included guest professorships in Graz and Innsbruck and visiting professorships in Munich, Cologne, and Berlin. He also served as a chair representative at RWTH Aachen University and as a Privatdozent at the University of Bonn.
