Lucas Fassnacht

Lucas Fassnacht was born in Dieburg in 1988. He studied Ancient Greek, German studies and linguistics in Erlangen and was active for several years as a participant, organiser and workshop leader in the poetry slam scene. As an author, he published the nonfiction book “Die träumende KI” under his own name. In 2022, he received the Nuremberg Culture Award. His crime novel “Reichswald” (2023) and thriller “Die Innere Führung” (2024) were published under the pseudonym Lars Sommer. Fassnacht also led a poetry slam workshop with young people, which was portrayed in the documentary film “Südstadthelden”.
