Linda Castillo

Linda Castillo was born and raised in Dayton, Ohio. Before devoting herself fully to writing, she worked for many years as a financial manager. She wrote her first novel in her youth. Her international breakthrough came in 2010 with *Sworn to Silence*, the first crime novel featuring police chief Kate Burkholder. Castillo’s thrillers are set in an Amish community in Ohio and became international bestsellers.
