Lilia Hassaine

Lilia Hassaine (born 1991) is a French journalist, writer and editor. After studying literature, she received a diploma from the Institut français de presse in 2015. She has worked for outlets including arte, TMC, Le Parisien and Le Monde, and from 2017 for the TMC programme »Quotidien«. Her debut novel, »L’Œil du paon«, was published in 2019. Her second novel, »Soleil amer«, received the Prix littéraire de la Ville de Caen and was selected for the Prix Goncourt preliminary list.
