Liam Sharp (born 1968 in England) is a British comic artist who initially worked as an assistant to artist Don Lawrence. His solo career began in the mid-1980s at the British magazine 2000 AD, where he illustrated, among other stories, Judge Dredd adventures. He later worked for Marvel and DC Comics, drawing titles including The Incredible Hulk, Venom, Spider-Man, Man-Thing, SUPERMAN: TODESSTACHEL, TESTAMENT and GEARS OF WAR. In 2011, he wrote and illustrated the graphic novel Aliens: Fast Track to Heaven. For DC, he worked on Greg Rucka’s WONDER WOMAN and wrote and illustrated BATMAN/WONDER WOMAN: DER RITTER UND DIE PRINZESSIN. He also illustrated Grant Morrison’s GREEN LANTERN and chapters of BATMAN/CATWOMAN. Sharp additionally founded an independent publisher specialising in art books and comics.
