Leonard Woolf

Leonard Woolf (1880–1969) studied at Trinity College, Cambridge. After several years of colonial service in Ceylon, he returned to England and married Virginia Woolf in 1912, having met her through her brother, Thoby Stephen. Between 1960 and 1969, he published a five-volume autobiography, regarded by many as his most significant work.
