Layal Liverpool

Layal Liverpool is a science journalist who holds a doctorate in virology and immunology from the University of Oxford. Before moving into journalism, she worked as a biomedical researcher at University College London and the University of Oxford. Her writing on technology, physics, the environment, health, and inequalities in science, medicine, and healthcare has appeared in publications including Nature, New Scientist, WIRED, and The Guardian.
