Laurell K. Hamilton

Laurell K. Hamilton, born in Arkansas, USA, in 1963, is an American author. She is best known for her paranormal fiction series, particularly the novels featuring vampire detective Anita Blake, which combine elements of crime fiction and fantasy. Hamilton also wrote the series centered on private detective Meredith Gentry. Her books have repeatedly appeared on bestseller lists in the United States, and she has been described as a New York Times bestselling author.
