Korfiz Holm

Korfiz Holm (Diedrich Heinrich Corfitz Holm, 1872–1942) was a German writer, translator, and publisher. He initially studied law in Berlin and later in Munich. As a translator, he rendered works by Anton Chekhov, Nikolai Gogol, Maxim Gorky, and Leo Tolstoy into German. He was also active with the Albert Langen Verlag and Georg Müller Verlag publishing houses in Munich. His own works include “Herz ist Trumpf” (1918) and “Farbiger Abglanz” (1940).
