Kimberly Brubaker Bradley is an author of novels for young readers. Her work has received two Newbery Honor distinctions. Her best-known books include The War That Saved My Life, published in German as Gras unter meinen Füßen, and its sequel, The War I Finally Won. Several of her novels have appeared on the New York Times bestseller list.
