Kilian Heck

Kilian Heck studied art history, history, and classical archaeology in Frankfurt am Main. In 2011, he took up the chair of general art history at the University of Greifswald. His scholarly fields include German funerary sculpture and court art of the 15th to 17th centuries, the political iconography of the early modern period, palace and manor-house architecture of the 18th and 19th centuries, and works of German Romanticism.
