Keto von Waberer

Keto von Waberer, born in Augsburg in 1942, studied architecture in Munich and Mexico. She worked as a writer and translator from Spanish and English. Her works include the story collections Fischwinter, Der Schattenfreund and Das Weiß im Auge des Feindes, as well as the novel Blaue Wasser für eine Schlacht. Her literary work received several awards, including the 2011 Literature Prize of the City of Munich. From 1998 onward, she taught creative writing at the University of Television and Film Munich.
