Kerstin Gleba studied American and English Studies, Romance Studies and German Studies in Düsseldorf and Lausanne. She began working for the publishing house Kiepenheuer & Witsch in 1995 and headed its fiction editorial department from 2002. She joined the management board in 2004 and became publishing managing director in early 2019. In this capacity, she was also a member of the management board of Holtzbrinck Book Publishers.
