Keith Gessen

Keith Gessen was born in Moscow in 1975 and emigrated to the United States with his family in 1981. He worked as a translator and wrote for publications including the New York Times, the London Review of Books, and The New Yorker. Gessen co-founded the literary magazine n+1 and taught journalism at Columbia University. His debut novel, *All the Sad Young Literary Men*, was published in German in 2009.
