Keigo Higashino

Keigo Higashino (born 1958 in Osaka, Japan) is a Japanese writer. After studying engineering at Osaka Prefecture University and working as an engineer, he began writing crime novels. Higashino was also captain of an archery team. His novels have received numerous awards, been adapted for film and television, and published internationally. Among his best-known works is »Verdächtige Geliebte«, which was nominated for an Edgar Award. With »Kleine Wunder um Mitternacht«, he also published a novel outside the crime genre.
