Kees van der Pijl

Kees van der Pijl, born in 1947 in Dordrecht, the Netherlands, is a Dutch political scientist. Until 2019, he was Professor of International Relations at the University of Sussex. His research has focused on transnational classes and the global political economy. He is the author of numerous books, including *Der Abschuss – Flug MH17, die Ukraine und der neue Kalte Krieg*.
