Katrine Clante was born in Copenhagen in 1973 and grew up in the Danish countryside. She studied Visual Communication at the Danish Design School and began working as an illustrator of children’s books, magazines, and posters in 2003. Her first picture book, “Flieger am Himmel,” written by Annette Herzog, was published by Peter Hammer Verlag in 2008. Her illustrations have received several major awards.
