Katja Riemann

Katja Riemann (born 1963) is a German actress who has worked in film, television and theatre. Her acting has earned her, among other honours, the Coppa Volpi, the German Film Award, the Bambi and the Adolf Grimme Award. She is known for films including »Bandits« and »Fack ju Göhte«. Riemann has also worked as an audiobook narrator, recording works by several authors. As a writer, she published the nonfiction books »Jeder hat. Niemand darf. Projektreisen« and »Zeit der Zäune. Orte der Flucht«, followed by the novel »Nebel und Feuer«. For her human-rights work, she received the Order of Merit of the Federal Republic of Germany and the Bad Iburg Courage Prize.
