Katharina Lucas worked as a musical-theatre performer and wrote short stories and plays in her spare time. Her texts appeared in various anthologies. In 2021 and 2022, she took part in the queer literature festival homochrom in Cologne with a reading slot. One of her plays is “Asta! Asta! Asta!”, about silent-film star Asta Nielsen; it was performed for several years during the summer in front of the Asta-Nielsen-Haus on Hiddensee.
