Katerina Kroucheva

Katerina Kroucheva (born 1971) is a literary scholar. She taught comparative literature and modern German literature at the University of Göttingen, where she completed her habilitation in 2018. Her research has focused on the history of science and concepts, translation studies, cultural poetics, literary mediation, and literary evaluation and canon formation. Her publications include “Goethereif!” Die bulgarischen Faust-Übersetzungen (2009), Kafkas Gabel. Überlegungen zum Ausstellen von Literatur (co-ed., 2013), Comics. Zur Geschichte und Theorie eines populärkulturellen Mediums (co-ed., 2009), and Fordschritt und Rückblick. Verhandlungen von Technik in Literatur und Film des 20. und 21. Jahrhunderts (co-ed., 2019).
