Karl Lenz, Prof. Dr. habil., is a sociologist and professor of microsociology at Technische Universität Dresden, where he is affiliated with the Institute of Sociology. His academic fields include couple research, family sociology, gender studies, and qualitative methods such as discourse and film analysis. He has also researched the cultural foundations of private forms of life.
