Kai Sina

Kai Sina (b. 1981) studied German, media studies, linguistics, medieval studies, and philosophy in Kiel and Göttingen. He worked at the Department of German Philology at the University of Göttingen and conducted research at the University of Chicago in 2015–16 as a Humboldt Foundation fellow. In 2020, he became Professor of Modern German Literature and Comparative Literature at the University of Münster. He received the Fritz Behrens Foundation Science Prize in 2016. His publications include “Susan Sontag und Thomas Mann” (2017), “Kollektivpoetik” (2019), and a study of Walter Kempowski.
