Juliana Kalnay

Juliana Kálnay, born in Hamburg in 1988, grew up in Cologne and Málaga. Her work has appeared in German- and Spanish-language anthologies and literary journals. In 2016, she received the Literature Working Grant from the Cultural Foundation of the State of Schleswig-Holstein. Her debut novel, *Eine kurze Chronik des allmählichen Verschwindens*, received the aspekte Literature Prize in 2017 and the Friedrich Hebbel Prize in 2018.
