Judith Fanto

Judith Fanto (born 1969) is an author and lawyer who has also worked as a speaker and journalist. Her debut novel, *Viktor* (2020), which explores the troubled past of her Viennese family, won the Hebban Prize for Best Debut, became a bestseller, and was translated into several languages. Her second novel, *Der Betrachter*, received the Silver Rainbow Award and became a bestseller in the Netherlands. Fanto founded several foundations that supported cultural and educational initiatives, including those for Jewish people and children with psychiatric problems.
