Joseph Hayes

Joseph Hayes (1918–2006) studied at Indiana University and worked for a New York theatrical publisher until 1943. He is best known for the novel “The Desperate Hours,” published in German as “An einem Tag wie jeder andere.” He also wrote numerous other novels, short stories, plays, and screenplays.
