Josef Bruckmoser (born 1954) studied theology and worked as an editor at the Salzburger Nachrichten from 1989 for around 30 years. He eventually headed the newspaper’s science, health and religion department. As a science journalist and author, he wrote reports, features and interviews on philosophical and ideological subjects. He co-authored biographies of bishops Johann Weber, Helmut Krätzl and Erwin Kräutler, as well as the books “Mein Leben für Amazonien” and “Habt Mut,” written with Kräutler.
