Jonathan Monk

Jonathan Monk (born 1969 in Leicester) is a contemporary conceptual artist. His work engages with the conceptual art and Minimalism of the 20th century, reinterpreting and at the same time questioning these movements. He has worked across a range of media, including photography, sculpture, video, performance and mail art. “Printed matter”—ephemeral printed materials—also plays an important role in his work.
