John Lanchester

John Lanchester was born in Hamburg in 1962 and grew up in the Far East. He first worked as an editor at Penguin Books in England and later became an editor at the London Review of Books. He also contributed to publications including Granta and The New Yorker, and worked as a restaurant critic for The Observer and a columnist for The Daily Telegraph. Lanchester is an English writer and journalist.
