John Gribbin

John Gribbin (born 1946) is a British astrophysicist and popular science author. He studied physics and astronomy, earned a doctorate, and worked for the journals Nature, New Scientist and The Times. He later taught and conducted research at the University of Sussex. Gribbin has written numerous popular science books, including „Auf der Suche nach Schrödingers Katze“ (In Search of Schrödinger’s Cat), „Unsere Sonne – ein rätselhafter Stern?“ (Our Sun) and „Am Anfang war ... Neues vom Urknall und der Evolution des Kosmos“ (In the Beginning). His book „Schrödingers Kätzchen und die Suche nach der Wirklichkeit“ was named the most original science book of 1997 by Bild der Wissenschaft.
