Johannes Binotto

Johannes Binotto is a cultural and media scholar, experimental filmmaker, and video essayist. His research focuses on the intersections of media theory, the philosophy of technology, and psychoanalysis, as well as the video essay as a research method and questions of corporeality, performance, and space. His publications include “Tat/Ort. Das Unheimliche und sein Raum in der Kultur” (Berlin, 2013) and “Film/Architektur. Perspektiven des Kinos auf den Raum” (Basel, 2017).
