Johanna Benden

Johanna Benden was born in Schleswig-Holstein in the 1970s. She studied to become a teacher of mathematics and chemistry in Kiel and later trained as a programmer in Hamburg. Inspired by the “Twilight” novels, she began writing in 2010. She has since published novels set in and around Glückstadt as well as works of fantasy. Her books combine northern German settings and humor with fantastical elements.
