Joachim Meyerhoff

Joachim Meyerhoff, born in 1967 in Homburg/Saar and raised in Schleswig, is an actor and writer. He has performed at various theatres, including Vienna’s Burgtheater, Schauspielhaus Hamburg, Berlin’s Schaubühne and the Münchner Kammerspiele. He was named Actor of the Year three times for his work on stage. In 2011, he began publishing his multi-part cycle »Alle Toten fliegen hoch«. His literary work has received, among other distinctions, the Franz Tumler Literature Prize, the Sponsorship Award of the Bremen Literature Prize and, in 2024, the Kassel Literature Prize for Grotesque Humor.
