Jo Angerer

Joachim “Jo” Angerer (born 1956) is a German television journalist and foreign correspondent. He began his career as a freelance contributor to newspapers and magazines and later worked for Bayerischer Rundfunk, where he also hosted the youth programme “Zündfunk.” In 1990, he joined Westdeutscher Rundfunk as a writer and editor. He worked on the political magazine “Monitor” and the documentary series “Die Story,” and authored numerous documentaries for ARD and WDR. His areas of focus include investigative reporting as well as peace and security policy.
