Jeremias Heppeler

Jeremias Heppeler is an artist, author, and filmmaker. For the film projects »Die Stadt der vergessenen Kinder« and »Dieter Meiers Rinderfarm«, he traveled to Mongolia and Argentina. In Atakpamé, Togo, he conducted research on the history of the Kamina radio station and German colonial history. Heppeler received the Förderpreis of the City of Konstanz and the Motion Picture 2.0 Award from ZKM Karlsruhe. His play »Die ganze Hand«, about Eugen Bolz, was nominated in 2023 for the Monica Bleibtreu Prize as best contemporary drama in the Theater Lindenhof production. »Dunkles Donautal« is his debut novel.
