Jens Schumacher, born in 1974, is a German author of books and games for children, young adults and adults. Since the mid-1990s, he has published works in a range of genres, including fantasy novels, crime fiction, interactive books and nonfiction. He has also written numerous editions of the internationally successful puzzle game series Black Stories. His works have been translated into more than 20 languages. In 2017, Schumacher received the Saarland Children’s and Young People’s Book Prize.
