Jens J. Kramer, born in 1957, studied ethnology and journalism in Berlin. He made his literary debut in 1999 with the historical novel “Die Stadt unter den Steinen,” followed by “Das Delta” and “Der zerrissene Schleier.” Under the pseudonym Jo Kramer, he wrote romantic comedies, and as Mike Schulz, crime comedies. Together with Nina George, he published crime novels under the name Jean Bagnol, featuring the Provençal investigator Commissaire Mazan. His other works include “Johannas Rache” (2020).
