Jennifer L. Armentrout is an American author of fantasy, romance, and science-fiction novels for young adults and adults. She gained international recognition with works including the Obsidian series, the Wicked saga, and the Blood and Ash series. Her books have repeatedly appeared on the New York Times and SPIEGEL bestseller lists. Among her early writing efforts were short stories she wrote during math lessons. Armentrout is also known for her enthusiasm for zombie films.
