Jeff VanderMeer

Jeff VanderMeer was born in Pennsylvania in 1968 and grew up in the Fiji Islands. He is known as an award-winning science-fiction author, including as a recipient of the World Fantasy Award, and as the editor of numerous anthologies of fantastic literature. Among his best-known works is the Southern Reach trilogy, whose novel Annihilation was adapted into a film.
